Forest School Session

Nature & Nurture at Kiplin

06 August 2019 | 10:30 - 12:00

This summer Kiplin is hosting three fun-filled outdoor forest school sessions for 2-11 year olds, and their parent or carer, in the stunning surrounds of Kiplin Hall & Gardens. There will be a scavenger hunt, den building, muddy play and marshmallow toasting around a campfire as well as themed activities for each session. Sessions take place on Tuesday 6th, 13th, and 27th August. Places are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Nature Detectives on 6th August
We’ll be going on a bug hunt and looking for evidence of animals in the Kiplin grounds. Make a clay creature to take home.
Elves, Trolls, and Fairies on 13th August
Enter a magical world and look for signs of little people at Kiplin. You can make a woodland wand and a troll tree guardian with clay
Dragons and Knights on 27th August
Search for dragons eggs and then make your own. Be a knight for a day and make a bow and arrow.

The sessions will be led by Level 3 qualified Forest School Practitioner, Lucy Cunningham from Nature & Nurture Forest School, Northallerton.

Tickets for each session cost £7.50 per child, and can be booked HERE. Ticket price includes hot chocolate and snacks for the children, and a hot drink for accompanying adults.
