Enjoy our spook-tacular outdoor trail this October. Look back at scary tales and torments from Yorkshire folklore and legend. Boggle the hobgoblin, the Cottingley Fairies, Dracula and Guy Fawkes are just some of the spooky stories and real life encounters rooted in Yorkshire.

Aimed at families with primary school aged children, although we hope older children will enjoy it too.

We encourage visitors to dress up for Halloween during the trail, we love to see your costumes!

The route of the trail can be wet at this time of year, please wear appropriate footwear, wellingtons might be best. Please keep in mind push chairs and prams may get muddy on the trail, the whole route may not be accessible to your push chair. Part of the trail is in the walled garden on hard, well draining paths suitable for wheelchairs but in very wet weather the woodland bark paths can become very muddy and may make access difficult for wheelchair users.

Kiplin Hall and Gardens is open 6 days a week, closed on Thursdays

Standard admission applies, there is no additional charge, and there is no need to book. Included with valid annual ticket.
