Seasonal home cooking and refreshments
Indulge the senses in Kiplin’s delightful Tea Room where much of the food has been grown in Kiplin’s Walled Garden or sourced from local, independent suppliers. The Tea Room boasts ice-cream created using soft fruit grown a stone’s throw away, and its own blend of coffee created by Rounton Coffee. Visitors to the Tea Room will dine in style in the company of Charles II, and previous family members of Kiplin Hall, surrounded by the dark oak Jacobean-style panelling, and ornate Victorian plaster ceiling of this unique room. On sunny days Kiplin’s Tea Tent is open for picnic food to be enjoyed in the grounds.
Tea/coffee, cakes and scones are available from 10am-5pm. Lunch is served from 11.30am to 3pm, Afternoon Teas 2-4pm. Pre-booking for Afternoon Tea is advisable. Last orders are at 4.30pm.
A selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes, with a freshly baked scone, Kiplin jam and clotted cream, or a savoury scone with chutney and a slice of cheese.
Served with a pot of Tea, or a cafetiére of Kiplin House Blend Coffee
