Thanksgiving
Feel thankful this autumn at Kiplin Hall!
3 October 2025 – 27 November 2025 – 11:00am – 5:00pm
Included with admission

The 400 year old Hall shares its origin story with the Calvert family, founders of Maryland, USA. Explore the tradition of Thanksgiving in America, a holiday not normally observed in the UK, through food, music and famous faces.

As we learn about Thanksgiving customs, we uncover what we are thankful for. Share our gratitude to the volunteers and many hands that have helped make Kiplin Hall and Gardens what it is today by adding your handprint to a cascade of autumn leaves floating in the grand staircase.

The displays on the ground floor are supported by activities in the Family Activity Room upstairs and a Spotify music trail around the hall. These autumnal displays in the Hall overlap in part (from 17th Oct – 6th Nov) with our Crowe’s Wood Halloween Trail outdoors.

Kiplin Hall and Gardens open 6 days a week, closed on Thursdays.
