Explore our lakeside path and discover our new ‘Ecology at The Folly’ centre. A focal point for those wishing to know more about nature and the environment surrounding Kiplin Hall. During Wild Wednesdays our Activity Volunteers will be on hand to guide families through seasonal eco themed activities.
Kiplin Hall and Gardens is not just home to a wonderful museum collection but is also a haven for wildlife. The large lake and smaller ponds are home to birds like geese, swans and heron. Underwater insects and marine plants thrive, alongside frogs and toads. In the ample woodland several bird and bat species fill the air, from woodpeckers to tree creepers. Wildflowers and fungi are nature’s carpet. The ever-changing seasons offer explorers something new to see each visit.
